Local urban-folk duo, Victory Revolt, and the Staten Island Freak Corps will present their latest North Show sequel, the Return of the Great Blue Heron 2.1, on May 30, 2009, at the VMH Playhouse in Snug Harbor. Victory Revolt, formerly known as Trish and Christoph, are described as “solid cultural ambassadors for the borough’s growing new arts movement” (Staten Island Advance, Dec. 5, 2008). This May, they will join forces with artists and friends for a frolicsome suburban celebration that includes live music, dance and comedy and as always, lots of vinyl siding!
 
Opening Act: Brandon Patton and Dan Thiel (BL4k Lotus, MC Frontalot)

Brandon Patton's last album was nominated for "Album of the Year" by the Independent Music Awards. He is also known as BL4k Lotus, bass player for MC Frontalot (the godfather of nerdcore hiphop.) He has written music for the plays Love Sucks: A Punk Rock Musical, Jukebox Stories, and Jukebox Stories 2: The Case of the Creamy Foam.
