Hey Friends,

This Saturday, April 12th, the ETG Book Cafe hosts the musicians collective "Earth People".  They will be joined by jazz legend Gunther Hampel. This announcement is combined with a bit of nostalgia. Gunther Hampel is a native of my hometown Göttingen and probably its only famous contemporary. He lives and works in both Cities and I remember his tall appearance on the local sidewalks since I was a kid. He even played and recorded with Jimi Hendrix.
So let's go down to the ETG and show this man who we really are: Improvised music enthusiasts!
